Maryborough continues to dominate in the CQBL men’s competition with their second win over the Bundaberg Bulls on Saturday evening in Maryborough.
The Magic defeated the Bulls 86-78. Maryborough’s dominant first quarter set up the win for the home team, but the Bulls would not go away, leading the scoring in the second and third quarters before a tight final quarter.
The Bundaberg Bears continued their domination in the women’s competition with a 66-48 victory over the Magic.
This week Hervey Bay Basketball will host Bundaberg at the Hervey Bay High School while Maryborough hosts the Gympie Comets.
