An ecumenical liturgy of the word to celebrate the Feast of Pentecost, the community turned out for the Church Crawl on Sunday 5 June.

Starting at the Bundaberg Uniting Church in Barolin Street, Bundaberg, attendees then proceeded to the Holy Rosary Catholic Church on the corner of Barolin and Woongarra streets and concluding at Christ Church Anglican Church in Woongarra Street.

Bundaberg Anglican church warden and parish councillor Jo Leveritt said the Church Crawl was a huge success.

“Over 200 parishioners from across the three religions walked in procession between the three churches, most wearing red, the symbol of passion and the flames of the Holy Spirit, stopping for a short worship at each location, and finishing with an afternoon tea in the grounds of the Anglican Church,” she said.
