Although there was a scheduled break in the Premier League competition over the weekend, there was still plenty of action on the pitch with games all around the Wide Bay.

Re-scheduled games from earlier in the season were played with some big scores and upsets recorded.

In the men’s competition, Across the Waves continued rolling with a 10-0 win over Granville in their re-scheduled round nine clash.

Tyler Bock scored the match’s only goal in the S.C Corinthians 1-0 win over Doon Villa.

The United Park Eagles dominated the United Warriors 4-0 in the women’s championship, while the Fraser Flames continue to stamp their authority on the competition with a 5-2 win over Bingera. Across the Waves defeated Tinana 5-0.

This weekend once again features matches in Bundaberg, Hervey Bay and Maryborough.

Bingera will host the Fraser Flames at Bingera, while S.C. Corinthians and Sunbury will clash at Martens Oval, while Granville and Doon Villa play at Canning Park, Maryborough.

In the match of the round, the KSS Jets host Across the Waves in what could be a potential grand final clash.

The women’s fixtures kick off on Friday night, with Diggers hosting Sunbury at Martens Oval while Tinana and the United Warriors play in Maryborough.

Bingera and the Fraser Flames play Saturday afternoon at Bingera while the KSS Jets and Across the Waves will follow the men’s game in Hervey Bay.
