There will be three events next month as Carina Speedway prepares to end its first season back since new owners took over the venue.

It comes after the Speedway hosted its last event last week.

This weekend will see a massive show with monster trucks, jet cars, a burnout showdown a demolition derby and a fireworks show.

The following weekend will see burnouts happen at the venue before the Speedway hosts another meet on May 29, which features Super Sedans, Productions Sedans, Street Stocks National 4s and Junior Sedans.

Last weekend saw plenty of good racing as six classes competed.

In junior sedans, Mitchell Bayfield won the new stars with Josh Rigby winning the top stars as Tim Weir won the National 4s class.

The other categories of Late Models and Productions Sedans were taken out by Ross Nicastri and Michael Johnson respectively with Bundaberg’s Craig Olive winning Nostalgia Sedans.

Bundaberg Today was at the track last weekend and took photos of the juniors in action.

The meet this weekend still has tickets available with adults getting in for $45, students and pensioners getting in for $35 and kids between four and 12 getting in for $15.

Carina Speedway is located at Alex Walker Road in Alloway.
