Week 11 was another busy week of the 2025 crush season.
Bundaberg Sugar processed 47,184 tonnes of sugar in the seven days leading up to Sunday 2 August.
That haul lifted the current season’s throughput past the 450,000 tonnes barrier (451,990.98)
It halted a run of three weeks in succession where more than 50,000 tonnes were processed.
The mill’s average CCS for Week 11 was 14.26, an increase of 0.61 week on week.
It has lifted the mill’s average CCS for the 2025 season to 13.19.
The highest individual CCS for the week was 16.40 units for KQ228 Plant Cane.
The highest variety average CCS for the week was 14.57 units for variety Q240.
The four major varieties supplied for Week 11 to Millaquin Mill were as follows:
Q240 with 36.7 per cent of supply and an average CCS of 14.57 units.
KQ228 with 29.1 per cent of supply and an average CCS of 14.55 units.
Q208 with 11.3 per cent of supply and an average CCS of 14.24 units.
Q232 with 6.9 per cent of supply and an average CCS of 12.76 units.
