If there is anything we have learned in 2021, it is not to take our health for granted and therefore many people are looking for ways of having a renewed focus on health and happiness.
The region is set to show off its incredible beauty again and provide both locals and visitors alike with the opportunity to immerse themselves in four days of wellness, yoga and mother nature on the Great Barrier Reef.
The Wellness Yoga Retreat begins on 21 January running until the 24th surrounded by the turquoise blue waters of Lady Musgrave Island.
The sessions will be guided by Happiness Yoga’s Katie and sounder healer Karen who are both skilled instructors who will be guiding participants through daily wellness activities designed to refuel people’s spirit.
Included in the experience is group yoga and pilates sessions followed by a morning meditation to stretch the body and clear the mind for a new day.
There is also Yin yoga and meditation sessions on the sand of a secluded beach on Lady Musgrave Island before lunch every day.
In the night there are sound healings in the underwater observatory.
Lady Musgrave Experience director Brett Lakey said it was fantastic to be able to provide experiences like this for visitors that includes retreating to the Lady Musgrave HQ for a good night’s sleep under the stars.
