Calling all past VIEW members

Some of the Bundaberg VIEW Club members enjoying a visit to Maryborough.

Did you know that a new VIEW Club is being established in Bundaberg?

Planning is well underway and will attract ladies from as far as Childers, Gin Gin, Lowmead and Rosedale and all suburbs in and around Bundaberg.

VIEW stands for voice, interests and education of women.

Whether a previous VIEW member or not, women living in the Wide Bay area looking to make new friends and enjoy social activities are most welcome to head along to the monthly meetings.

Besides having fun and friendship, members will also be helping disadvantaged children with their education, by supporting the VIEW Club’s fund-raising activities for The Smith Family’s Learning for Life programs.

Bundaberg members also enjoy visits to other VIEW Clubs in the zone occasionally, and on Friday 12 November, prospective VIEW members travelled to Maryborough to help celebrate Maryborough VIEW Club’s first birthday.

With members from Hervey Bay, Fraser Coast and Gympie Clubs, including guest speakers The Smith Family Queensland general manager Alan Le May, Maryborough MP Bruce Saunders, and Fraser Coast Regional Councillor Paul Truscott.

Head along to the next meeting and find out more about VIEW on Wednesday 24 November at The Young Australian Hotel, North Bundaberg, commencing at 11.30am.

The cost is $20 which includes a two-course lunch, and there will be a very interesting guest speaker in attendance.
