Time to explore Childers and beyond

Russo Nature Park – weekend family walk.

A short trip from Childers turning into Rosemont Drive then Park Avenue you will find this beautiful park area with three walking tracks winding through the park where walkers can explore interesting vegetation and wildlife along Stock Yard Creek.

The lookout track is 400 metres long and leads to one of the highest points in the area where visitors can appreciate this natural beauty. There is a rainforest, and the park contains a wide diversity of local native trees shrubs and wildlife, so grab your walking shoes and bird book and take the family for a walk in your local area and see just what this beautiful park has to offer.

International Women’s Day Breakfast

This year breakfast will be held at the Isis Club on 8 March commencing at 7am and the cost for breakfast is just $15.

This year’s theme is Inspire Inclusion.

The Childers Neighbourhood Centre along with Isis District High School extend this invitation so we can all inspire each other within the

community.

When women themselves are inspired to be included, there is a sense of belonging, relevance, and empowerment.

Beach Fit

Come along to Aqua Aerobics with Melinda Wednesdays at the Memorial Pool Childers starting at 10.15am for just $10.

Classes will help you build strength Improve Fitness are low impact and lots of fun.

Isis Devils Ambrose Gold Fundraiser

On Sunday 24 March at 10am starts at the Isis Golf Club with teams of three.

It is just $25 per player for lots of fun and great prizes.

Get set for: Health and Wellness Expo

This event is now in its second year and applications for table displays are filling quickly.

It will be held on 27 April from 10am-1pm the Cultural Centre Childers will be open for you to browse all of the Health and Wellness businesses, non-profit organisations and local hobby organisations from our area.
