Some of the region’s greatest young talent is set to hit the stage for a whopping seven hours of live music and Bundy Gig Guide’s Steve Price couldn’t be more excited.

The Young Guns in question will include Tahnee Rose, Peter Sajko, Chris Dingley, Braydon Symes, Matthew Munro and Tahli Thomas, all who have their own unique sound but definitely know how to command the stage and have audiences singing along.

Steve said there was something about live music that kept Bundaberg audiences wanting more and he was proud to be able to provide such an amazing line up and all under 21 years old.

“Personally I got my first taste of live music back in 1983 and I haven’t been able to get enough ever since, so when I moved to Bundaberg from Melbourne I was blown away by not just the range but the excellent standard of local musicians in the area,” he said.

“If there is any way that I can promote live music I will and for that reason I have organised a variety of different events including an Evening by the Sea fundraising for Give Me 5 for Kids and Musos v Fans Trivia Night in October that have proved successful and I think this one is a great way to remind everyone of the talented young live acts we have.

“Because of Covid restrictions, live music has taken a real hit this year; I used to be booking about 48 gigs a week and currently it is about 20 but we have to remain confident that it will get better in the future.”

Steve highlighted that when choosing performers for the night he definitely had a great list to choose from but really wanted to highlight these young guns who had worked hard busking no matter what the weather at the Paradise and Shalom Markets to name a few and really sharing their talent.

Throughout the Young Guns show, performers will not only be performing some of their favourites but also original music and maybe even a few duos.

Held at The Metro Hotel on Saturday November 28, the event will be on two stages allowing audiences to enjoy themselves upstairs and downstairs.

Tickets are only $10 and there will be a variety of raffles throughout the night.
