Paradise Markets organiser Charmaine Martin is celebrating the support that the Bundaberg region continues to show for its local events.
The Paradise Markets, held under the trees at 100 Hughes Road, Bargara, have fought back against the impacts of Covid-19 and continued to steadily grow since starting in July.
Charmaine said being positioned alongside the Turtle Paradise Cafe and Artisans 4670 nicely complimented the boutique market and visitors loved the range of market stalls.
“It’s great to have the support from the community and to see so many regulars each weekend coming for cakes, candles, macramé, plants and other handmade pieces,” she said.
“We have such a mix of stalls but it is especially pleasing to see so many small local businesses and creators which is why we started the markets in the first place.
“By allowing a wide range of products through, it guarantees there will be something for everyone.
“Add to that just a great sense of community and a welcoming atmosphere.”
Charmaine said that along with offering a variety of locally-made goods for sale, Paradise Market was also a chance for locals to get out and enjoy a little bit of music by local performers.
Paradise Market is held from 8am to 1pm on Sundays. For more information call Charmaine on 0406 600 754.
