The wait is over as the Bundaberg Regional Council has announced the new date for Flourish Family Fun Day.
After the event was cancelled in June due to rain, Flourish will make its return on Thursday 26 September with the original theme, Aussie Animals.
Packed with activities for all, including face painting, a petting zoo, rides and more, the day will not be one to miss.
Bundaberg’s youngest members of the community will also be acknowledged by the regional council as part of the Welcome Baby Celebration that is included in Flourish.
“Flourish Family Fun Day is a wonderful way for families to connect and find out what services and support are on offer to them throughout the region,” Mayor Blackburn said.
“It’s a great reason for the community to gather together and for service and support organisations to engage with families in a way that is not only interactive but informative as well.”
Family oriented community services, businesses and organisations will be in attendance, hosting their own stalls and the main stage will see a range of entertainers perform for visitors.
Flourish Family Fun Day and Welcome Baby Celebration is a free event and will be held at Boreham Park.
